The Universe is playing games, again. I sit and watch the tree and everything is in place; perfect and normal. The Universe whispers that things could be different. It shows me how the leaves could alter their position, they could cluster into spheres and roll along the wind. They could loop, twist and create a new normality. I know the Universe is powerful and for a moment I believe it can change itself. But the whisper becomes laughter and I realize the joke. The Universe chose to be nurturing to our development. It cannot choose to be less loving. A change in its nature would be a lesson that is far beyond our growth.
