Underwater Sculptures

Underwater Sculptures by Jason de Caires Taylor

Sculptures show very effectively that they are a part of their surroundings. A piece of art can not escape nature asserting its position. Even if this is simply, how the sculpture appears in snow, rain, or sunshine. By placing the sculptures underwater, nature is given a free reign to interact with the art, and to redefine it. These sculptures were designed to create an artificial reef.
